The Home gallery loads fasterLa galería de Inicio carga más rápido
The images of published Top 8s on Home now load straight from our image server, with no extra steps. They show up sooner, especially on mobile and the first time you visit.
Las imágenes de los Top 8 publicados en Inicio ahora se cargan directo desde nuestro servidor de imágenes, sin pasos intermedios. Se ven antes, sobre todo en el celular y la primera vez que entras.
Game logo in three versionsLogo del juego en tres versiones
Some games have more than one version of their logo (for example, The King of Fighters '98). Now, in Tournament info, you can choose between the normal logo, the light one (for dark backgrounds) and an alternate one, and see how it looks on your footer color.
Algunos juegos tienen más de una versión de su logo (por ejemplo, The King of Fighters '98). Ahora, en Info del torneo, puedes elegir entre el logo normal, el claro (para fondos oscuros) y uno alternativo, y ver cómo queda sobre el color de tu pie.

Security updateActualización de seguridad
We updated Top8Maker's technical foundation with the latest security patches released in October, and strengthened how uploaded images are checked. You don't need to do anything: your projects, templates and images stay the same.
Actualizamos la base técnica de Top8Maker con los últimos parches de seguridad publicados en octubre, y reforzamos la revisión de las imágenes que se suben. No tienes que hacer nada: tus proyectos, plantillas e imágenes siguen igual.
Important notices on the siteAvisos importantes en la web
When there's scheduled maintenance, slow servers or another important notice, you'll see it in a window when you open Top8Maker, with the date and time.
- Close it with the X and it comes back the next time you load the page.
- With Got it, don't show again you won't see it again.
- Each notice disappears on its own when it ends.
Cuando haya una mantención programada, servidores lentos u otro aviso importante, lo vas a ver en una ventana al entrar a Top8Maker, con la fecha y la hora.
- Ciérrala con la X y vuelve a aparecer la próxima vez que cargues la página.
- Con Entendido, no volver a mostrar no la vuelves a ver.
- Cada aviso desaparece solo cuando termina.
New themes with colored backgroundsTemas nuevos con fondos de colores
Theme & typography has 9 refreshed themes: each one changes the background, the slots and the shadow behind player names.
- White, light and colored backgrounds, plus a dark one (Midnight) if you prefer the old style.
- A new Top 8 now starts with a white background.
- The footer text adjusts automatically so it reads well on light or dark backgrounds.
- Your saved projects and templates don't change.
En Tema y tipografía hay 9 temas renovados: cada uno cambia el fondo, los slots y la sombra bajo los nombres.
- Fondos blancos, claros y de color, y uno oscuro (Medianoche) para quien prefiera el estilo de antes.
- Un Top 8 nuevo ahora parte con fondo blanco.
- El texto del pie se ajusta solo para leerse bien sobre fondos claros u oscuros.
- Tus proyectos y plantillas guardados no cambian.
Background image: layer color and black & whiteImagen de fondo: color de la capa y blanco y negro
When you add a background image to your Top 8, its settings open so it's clear what you can change:
- Black & white or color, just like each player's background.
- The layer color blended over the image, and its opacity (at 0 the image stays as is).
- Zoom and position, as always.
- Everything is also saved in your templates.
Al poner una imagen de fondo en tu Top 8 se abren sus ajustes para que quede claro qué puedes cambiar:
- Blanco y negro o color, igual que en el fondo de cada jugador.
- Color de la capa que se mezcla con la imagen, y su opacidad (con 0 la imagen queda tal cual).
- Zoom y posición, como siempre.
- Todo se guarda también en tus plantillas.
Find your game fasterBusca tu juego más rápido
When you create a Top 8, the game list now has a search box: type part of the name and it shows up instantly (accents and capitals don't matter).
- Games are shown 9 at a time, with pages.
- Custom is always at the end of the list.
Al crear un Top 8, la lista de juegos ahora tiene un buscador: escribe parte del nombre y aparece al instante (no importan las tildes ni las mayúsculas).
- Los juegos se muestran de a 9, con páginas.
- Personalizado siempre está al final de la lista.
Softer shadow behind player namesSombra más suave detrás de los nombres
The shadow behind each player's name now fades out evenly and reaches higher, without a hard edge. It's most noticeable with light characters or backgrounds, and it looks the same in the image you export.
La sombra que hay detrás del nombre de cada jugador ahora se desvanece de forma pareja y más alta, sin cortarse en seco. Se nota sobre todo con personajes o fondos claros, y queda igual en la imagen que exportas.
Custom game without a required logoJuego personalizado sin logo obligatorio
If you choose Custom, you no longer need a logo to get started. You can leave it empty and add one later in the editor if you want.
Si eliges Personalizado, ya no tienes que poner un logo para empezar. Puedes dejarlo vacío y agregarlo después en el editor, si quieres.
Move your tournament logo anywhereMueve el logo de tu torneo donde quieras
Your tournament logo no longer has to stay in the footer.
- Drag it from the footer to anywhere on your Top 8.
- Adjust its size and position in Tournament info.
- The other footer logos re-center automatically.
- Back to the footer puts it back in its usual place.
- Its position is also saved in your templates.
El logo del torneo ya no tiene que quedarse en el pie del gráfico.
- Arrástralo desde el pie a cualquier parte del Top 8.
- Ajusta su tamaño y posición en Info del torneo.
- Los demás logos del pie se vuelven a centrar solos.
- Con Volver al pie regresa a su lugar de siempre.
- La posición también se guarda en tus plantillas.
The accredited tournament seal, in your languageEl sello de torneo acreditado, en tu idioma
The seal for tournaments imported from start.gg has a new design and follows the language you have selected: ACCREDITED TOURNAMENT in English and TORNEO ACREDITADO in Spanish. If you switch languages, the seal changes instantly, including in the image you export.
El sello de los torneos importados desde start.gg tiene un diseño nuevo y sale en el idioma que tengas elegido: TORNEO ACREDITADO en español y ACCREDITED TOURNAMENT en inglés. Si cambias el idioma, el sello cambia al instante, también en la imagen que exportas.
Change the tournament title without losing the sealCambia el título del torneo sin perder el sello
When you import from start.gg you can now change the tournament title (for example, to shorten it) and the accredited seal stays. If you change a name, a tag or the date, the seal is removed; put it back the way it was and the seal returns.
Al importar desde start.gg ahora puedes cambiar el título del torneo (por ejemplo, para acortarlo) y el sello de acreditado se mantiene. Si cambias un nombre, un tag o la fecha, el sello se quita; si lo dejas como estaba, vuelve a aparecer.
Large accredited tournament sealSello grande de torneo acreditado
Top 8s imported from start.gg now show a large accredited tournament seal.
- Move it by dragging it in the preview.
- Resize or hide it in the Accredited seal section of the editor.
- The "Verified results" line in the footer stays.
Los Top 8 importados desde start.gg muestran un sello grande de torneo acreditado.
- Muévelo arrastrándolo en la vista previa.
- Cambia su tamaño o escóndelo en la sección Sello acreditado del editor.
- La línea "Resultados verificados" del pie se mantiene.
My backgrounds: upload your own background imagesMis fondos: sube tus propias imágenes de fondo
In Settings → My backgrounds you can upload your own images to use as the background of the whole Top 8 or of each player.
- We optimize them when you upload them so they weigh less.
- Find them with the My backgrounds button in the editor.
- Verified creators get more space.
En Configuración → Mis fondos puedes subir tus propias imágenes para usarlas como fondo del Top 8 completo o de cada jugador.
- Las optimizamos al subirlas para que pesen menos.
- Las encuentras con el botón Mis fondos del editor.
- Los creadores acreditados tienen más espacio.
Templates save each player's backgroundLas plantillas guardan el fondo de cada jugador
When you save a design as a template, each slot's background (and its framing) is now saved too, along with the main background. It works with your My backgrounds images and with links to other sites.
Al guardar un diseño como plantilla, ahora también se guarda el fondo de cada puesto (con su encuadre), además del fondo general. Funciona con tus imágenes de Mis fondos y con enlaces a otros sitios.
Light game logo for dark backgroundsLogo claro del juego para fondos oscuros
Some games now have a light version of their logo. In Tournament info you can pick the logo that looks best on your footer color, so it doesn't get lost on dark backgrounds.
Algunos juegos ahora tienen una versión clara de su logo. En Info del torneo puedes elegir el logo que mejor se vea sobre el color de tu pie, para que no se pierda en fondos oscuros.
Warning before leaving the editorAviso antes de salir del editor
If you have unsaved changes and go to another section, we ask what to do: save as draft, save the design as a template or discard changes. When you start a new Top 8, the editor resets with the characters of the game you pick.
Si tienes cambios sin guardar y vas a otra sección, te preguntamos qué hacer: guardar como borrador, guardar el diseño como plantilla o descartar los cambios. Al empezar un Top 8 nuevo, el editor se reinicia con los personajes del juego que elijas.
Fonts with letters running togetherFuentes con las letras pegadas
With Anton, Bebas Neue and Archivo Black, the letters in player names looked too close together. They are now clear and well spaced, in the editor and in the exported image.
Con Anton, Bebas Neue y Archivo Black las letras de los nombres se veían demasiado juntas. Ya se ven separadas y claras, en el editor y en la imagen exportada.
Clearer notice when a logo no longer existsAviso más claro cuando un logo ya no existe
If you exported a Top 8 with a logo you had deleted from My logos, the image came out without it and with no explanation. Now we tell you which image is missing, and deleting a logo or background also removes it from the Top 8 you have open.
Si exportabas un Top 8 con un logo que habías borrado de Mis logos, la imagen salía sin él y sin explicación. Ahora te avisamos qué imagen falta, y al borrar un logo o un fondo se quita también del Top 8 que tienes abierto.
